Roll up! Roll up!
It all began at the fair!
The fairground trade can look back at a long history, closely linked with the development of markets and street fairs.
Today, however, this old and wonderful tradition is in danger of being forgotten.
The Markt- und Schaustellermuseum is determined to keep these memory alive with its collections of countless rarities, about 5.000 prints and engravings, and an extensive scientific library.
Eight large fairground organs and other traditional musical instruments bring back the nostalgic sounds and visions of the good old days of yesteryear.
