Kunst am Moltkeplatz

The association KaM looks after the group of sculptures at Moltkeplatz Square in the south-eastern district of Essen, which comprises eight modern pieces by the sculptors Heinz Breloh, Christa Feuerberg, Hannes Forster, Gloria Friedmann, Lutz Fritsch, Friedrich Gräsel, Ansgar Nierhoff, and Ulrich Rückriem.

The group came together in 1981 based on an initiative by gallery owner Jochen Krüper († 2002).

The association, founded in 2006, and consisting of residents of the Moltke district, has taken on the responsibilities of care, further development, and the dissemination of information about the cultural location Moltkeplatz within the scope of sponsorship agreements, and organises relevant events.
