Bürgermeisterhaus Werden

Built by industrialist F. Vogelsang in 1833, this classical villa was the residence of the mayor of Werden.
It was converted into a cultural showcase in 1985, and offers elegant chamber music evenings in an intimate atmospshere.

The programme also includes readings, cabarett, jazz, chanson and children's concerts.

The local Sparkasse bank acquired the building, restored it to its former glory, and reopened it in April 2004 under the management of Agnes Wallek.
